SX Flameguard® Intumescent Acrylic Sealant

Description

A one component, high qualified emulsion-based sealant for fire retarding constructions. This product will transfer into a foam above +200°C and is almost odour free and is not corrosive towards metals. After application the product forms a tough rubber seal by evaporation of water from the sealant.
Fire Rating:
Between brick/brick 20mm 120 mins.
Between brick/metal 20mm 86 mins.
Between brick/timber 25mm 36 mins.
Between concrete/concrete 20mm 360 mins.
Fire rating specification: United Kingdom BS476 Part 20 1987.

Suitable for indoor joints where a fire retardant seal is required to prevent the passage of smoke and vapours.
